A Calvados that reveals a certain sweetness still mixed with refreshing and fruity notes of youth
Signification:
Cider fermented for 6 months on fine lees.
Distillation:
Double distillation in an iron still.
Breeding:
In 400 liter oak barrels, 25% of which are new barrels and pommeau barrels.
Ageing :
Blend of different vintages of Calvados AOC Pays d'Auge, 4 to 6 years old.
Alcohol strength:
42% vol.
Tasting notes:
Color: Gold, slightly tiled, shiny and limpid.
Nose: Aromas of ripe apples and white flowers. A lightly toasted finish.
Palate: Frank attack with notes of baked apples, vanilla and caramel. A melted finish with lemony notes.
Tasting advice:
As an aperitif: served on ice
During a meal: to accompany certain desserts or cakes.
As a digestif: At room temperature, in a brandy glass
